Mel Brigg

Mel Brigg was born in 1950 in South Africa and has been a resident in Australia for 17 years. Mel sketched from a young age and started painting seriously in 1970. He has painted in France, Israel, Greece and Portugal and has worked in New York. His work is held in many public collections in London, South Africa and Australia. His work has been greatly influenced by the effect of the light on the Australian landscape, be it the  outback, the rolling hills of the countryside or the ocean.
