Vanessa Stockard

Vanessa Stockard was a student of well known artists Alan Leach-Jones and Wendy Sharpe at COFA in 1996. In 1999 she completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts at the University of NSW, Sydney. She studied life drawing and anatomy of drawing in 2003-4 at the Julian Ashton Art School, The Rocks, Sydney.

She is well known for her portraiture and has painted amongst others Mike  Munro, Stan Zermanek and Sir Lawrence Street.

Her work can be found in private collections in Australia, U.S.A. and Switzerland. Her work is in the Murdoch Collections, Portland, Oregon, U.S.A. permanent collection and also in the permanent collection of Murray Tyrell (wines) and the late Stan Zermanek.
