Zhong Chen

Zhong Chen was born in China in 1969 and immigrated to Australia in 1989. In 1996 he completed a Bachelor of Visual Arts ( Honours ) at the University of South Australia and in 1998 completed a Masters of Fine Art at the Chelsea School of Art, London

He has exhibited throughout Australia and his work is held in private collections in Japan, China, Hong Kong and Australia. He has been the recipient of many awards and in 2008 he was a finalist in both the Archibald Prize and the Wynne Prize at the Art Gallery of NSW as well as being a finalist in the Doug Moran Prize.
